Managing treatment with Dravet syndromeDravet syndrome patients adding FINTEPLA should start at the 0.2 mg/kg/day dose and increase each week based on efficacy and tolerability until they reach the maintenance dose recommended by their healthcare provider. Image Finding the right dose and managing side effects with Dravet syndrome Managing treatment with LGSLGS patients adding FINTEPLA should start at the 0.2 mg/kg/day dose and increase weekly based on tolerability to a maximum recommended maintenance dose of 0.7 mg/kg/day. In the LGS clinical study, 0.7 mg/kg/day was the dose of FINTEPLA to significantly reduce monthly drop seizures. Image Finding the right dose and managing side effects with LGS *Patients should not take FINTEPLA if they are allergic to fenfluramine or any of the ingredients in FINTEPLA, or if they have taken medicines called monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs) in the last 14 days. This may cause a serious or life-threatening problem called serotonin syndrome.
